Summer 2026 Season

Empowering Musicians in the Pursuit of Opera Excellence

Join a transformative summer program where singers, conductors, and coaches collaborate with the Bach-Millennium Music Professional Orchestra to bring opera to life.

In residence at Santa Clara University, with additional performances across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our Mission

Bach-Millennium Music is a non-profit company, organized to empower singers, conductors and vocal coaches in their pursuits of artistry in the field of opera by offering unique, intensive educational training programs where students can learn and excel through daily practice with a resident professional orchestra, master classes, individual lessons, seminars, workshops and public performing opportunities. We also aim to inspire a lifelong love for music through year-round lessons for music lovers of all ages.

What Makes Us Special

Unlike any other program, our participants rehearse with the Bach-Millennium Music Professional Orchestra every single day throughout the program—not just for dress rehearsals and final performances.

What Our Alumni Say

The whole premise of the program is invaluable. I have sung with orchestra before, but not my arias, which is very different. The voice lessons improved my singing drastically, and coaching improved my confidence and musicality. This is a short and concentrated program, and you get a lot out of it.

— Julia Mulholland

Soprano, 2024 Season

This program gave me a unique opportunity to sing with an orchestra, which is rare for a young singer. It also helped me with confidence and learning how to be present on stage.

— Frank Watnick

Tenor, 2025 Season

As an actor and singer, I really got to dig into the character and figure out my own interpretation. The faculty and staff were incredibly supportive and created a wonderful environment.

— Gabriela Martinez

Soprano, 2025 Season
